This is my first book reading from these two authors and it didn’t disappoint。 This book is about finding the culprit who ate the cupcakes and more importantly giving second changes。 Pete the Cat is a great book for kids。

AlrightThe rhyming was cute but the illustrations weren't eye-catching and the book was very small as an ebook - I found the writing very hard to read because it was so small。 AlrightThe rhyming was cute but the illustrations weren't eye-catching and the book was very small as an ebook - I found the writing very hard to read because it was so small。 。。。more

This would be a very cute book for a read-aloud。 I think that this is a fun book that teaches about forgiveness while bringing some math into it。 I would like to do some sort of math lesson that pertains to this book after reading it。 This is also a cute book because it rhymes which always good for us to introduce to our students。 Overall a cute book that a teacher could really animate to make it a fun read-aloud!

Fun!Good, fun, mystery that only on one page you can see the culprit。 But only his eyes and hand! That book was good! ~Olivia, 8

I think this is a great book to read to a classroom。 It incorporates math in the storyline and gives the students a mystery to solve。 The book also uses a lot of rhyming words。 Teachers could potentially base a math lesson around this book, and get a good read aloud as well。 It also falls under the genre of animal fiction。

Klayton Scott

I love this book because My favorite dessert is cupcakes

Lea

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 Pete's ten cupcakes start disappearing in 2's, and he goes to search for the culprit。 It's a cute combination of math and rhyming text that's not too cheesy。 The primarily black san-serif font is on a high contrast background。Spoiler: Grumpy Toad ate all the cupcakes but brings more to make it up to everyone。 The ending has a nice moral: forgive your friends/let them learn from their mistakes。 "'But wait!
